Doraemon: Nobita no Doki Doki! Obake Land (ドラえもん のび太とドキドキ!おばけランド Doraemon: Nobita’s Pounding Heart! Ghostland)[1] is an cancelled 1996 action[2] Virtual Boy game based on the popular manga/anime Doraemon by Fujiko Fujio. The game was developed by Epoch and planned to released in March 1996 at 5,500 yen.[3]
The game would have Doraemon go through each stage by riding roller-coasters or bungee-jumps. Doraemon would also have to search for hidden tools and rescue his friends who were captured by ghosts. The game would also have five characters as playable characters, each with a unique attack.[4]
The game was cancelled due to Virtual Boy's failure. Only seven screenshots of the game exists and no prototypes or even other information of the game have surfaced.
