Gothicmade: Hana no Utame (also known as simply Gothicmade) is an anime film directed by Mamoru Nagano, originally released on November 1, 2012 in Japanese cinemas. The film had a rather long and drawn-out production process, its initial website having appeared online in early 2006. While it was initially planned to only be 30 minutes long, it was eventually extended into a full 70-minute film. It was animated by a studio known as "Automatic Flowers Studio", who had not done any other work and have not done any work since.

The film was never announced for any kind of home video release, and repeatedly appeared in Japanese cinemas for limited amounts of time until early 2016.

It is unknown why exactly the film has not been released on home video; one theory is that Nagano was dissatisfied with the film due to its long production and receiving lukewarm reviews from critics. Another theory is that Nagano believes the film can only be experienced in a theater setting due to its 4k animation, and as such has refused any sort of downgraded home video release.

No camrips or footage from the Japanese cinema showings have appeared online, meaning the only footage that exists of the film online comes from trailers and promos. Reviews of the film are available online in both English and Japanese.

A CD and an art book from the film are still readily available and in-print in Japan.
