Before the release of the 2006 video game ''Marvel Ultimate Alliance'', Activision held a contest on '''who would voice minor characters in the game''', namely Bruce Banner and Jean Grey. One of the contest winners was Arin Hanson (aka Egoraptor), known for his popular ''Awesome'' series on Newgrounds at the time and later the Let's Play series ''Game Grumps''. Since ''Marvel Ultimate Alliance'' was released across multiple platforms, the voice of Bruce Banner has been a topic of debate. According to Arin's website and his voice acting profile, he did end up voicing the character on the Wii, Playstaion 3, and PSP versions. However, Robin is cast as Bruce in these versions as well. The most logical and likely reason that Arin was scrapped was that he lived in Florida, meaning that Activision would have to fly him to LA to record the lines, making it possibly cheaper to just have a professional VA like Robin voice Bruce instead. As for why Arin says he supposedly voiced Bruce on those particular ports, he may have been misinformed and never played the ports in question to confirm that he was in them. Regardless, Arin's voice clips have never surfaced anywhere and, although he may still have his original audition clips, it's unknown if they even exist anymore.

'''EDIT August 12, 2016 19:20''': I reached out to Arin Hanson via email and I was told that he did record the voice and Activision informed him that his voice would only be used in select versions of the game. Since this was also a local contest, Activision assumed that all the auditions were coming from LA and in the surrounding areas. Arin ended up getting the "congratulations" email and told Arin to come out to LA in about two days. He told them that he was unable to so Activision decided to book him the flight but his recording came in too late during the production cycle.
