In 2010, the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia announced that a 150-second adaptation of the manga Orion would be shown at that year's festival.[1]

The adaptation was made by Studio 4°C and directed by Yasuhiro Aoki[2], a 2D animation director who decided this film would be his first foray into 3D.

The manga the film is based on was written by Shirow Masamune, known primarily for The Ghost in the Shell manga.

Since the festival, no release of the short can be found, nor can anyone find a mention of it on Studio 4°C website.
