Tokyo Godfathers is an original anime film which premiered in theaters on November 8, 2003 in Japan. When the film was brought over for release in 2004 in the United States, it was only in an English-subtitled format; however, an English dub was produced for an international market.
Sometime between 2004 and 2006, an English dub of the film was broadcast on the television station Animax Asia. The known English dub voices for the film are only for the main three leads, and were usuals for Animax dubs:
- Candice Moore as Miyuki
- Darren Pleavin as Gin
- Russell Wait as Hana
This English dub appears only to have aired briefly on Animax Asia, as no known home video release contains an English track. This English dub has also never appeared online outside of two short clips as part of Russell Wait's portfolio.
