Asia McGowan was a vlogging YouTuber who uploaded videos from 2007 to 2009, most of her videos were dance routines, vlogs and comedy skits. She was murdered by Anthony Powell on April 13, 2009.
History
Asia McGowan joined YouTube on March 23, 2006. However her first video Spice It Up TV! would be uploaded in October 12, 2007, she would later upload more vlogs and dancing skits starting from December 31, 2007.
In 2009, Anthony Powell had done rants towards black women, as a result, Asia's channel started receiving several hate comments which caused Asia to upload a video where she talks about her haters on April 6, 2009. (1 week before she was murdered)
On April 13, 2009. Anthony Powell murdered Asia McGowan with a shotgun at Henry Ford Community College before he shot himself with the shotgun.
Availability
Unlike Tony48219, Asia's channel remained on YouTube following the murder, however, in 2021, her YouTube channel was hacked and later terminated, causing all of her videos to be lost. However 3 of them would later be reuploaded by Archive user 101clover, it is unknown if more videos have been archived before the channel's termination.
