Edited back to Existence Unconfirmed as of 7/20/21 at 11:31 PM EST. Those newspaper clippings are definite proof. They aren't fudged documents. Guaranteed this is a situation like Greed or Metropolis or dare I say Hitogata where we have shreds of evidence if any that there's more to the story.

While the idea for the ad at the end of Believe in Santa clearly came from either James Bond or a serial, if you've paid attention to James Bond, they stopped explicitly naming the next movie after a while when they realized James Bond wasn't an automatic blockbuster, and that they truly could get shut down at any time. Nowadays they simply say "James Bond Will Return". Clearly the creators of Rapsittie believed they had made something that was at least commercially successful, or they wouldn't have even considered a second special let alone produced and/or advertised one. My guess is that Believe in Santa didn't bomb ass as hard as it should have, or A Bunny's Tale would not have been made.

Considering the low production values of Believe in Santa, it probably didn't have much effort put into it, which makes producing a sequel in just months fairly easy. Also, considering the animation was similar in quality to Amiga, it could have been very easily assembled. Look at Nanny Lynn and Kids Fun Festival (Pink Morning Cartoon). While yes, Nanny Lynn was allegedly assembling a family project, and while PMC's creator clearly knew what she was doing, the software appears to be a Disney for Dummies level program. Recording a voice is simple, as is syncing voice with animation. There was no QC and probably very little editing, so producing a special fairly quickly isn't that unrealistic.

Also, this aired on UPN. For those who don't know UPN, basically that explains why no one has heard of this special. Most likely this simply slipped under the radar. Had it appeared on CBS in place of Rudolph and Frosty, or ABC in place of Charlie Brown and the Grinch, there would have been hell to pay. Believe in Santa probably just faded instead of miserably bombing its way into bad movie history and lost media history. Clearly the same applies for A Bunny's Tale. There was a time where Believe in Santa was doubted too. While have no insider evidence, no mysterious tapes sitting around, no idea where to look at all for A Bunny's Tale, I know for a fact that this is a real show, that it did/does exist, and if we're lucky we will find it.

P.S. The guy in the video was the voice of Ricky, and A Bunny's Tale is alleged to focus on Zeke and/or Lenee's little sister. Basically, he'd most likely know nothing about it if he wasn't in it. Try all the cast and crew, see what there is to find. I'm sure being that Mark Hamill, Jodi Benson, and Paige O'Hara are well known, there must be a fan mail address. Considering I'm currently browbeating everyone behind a different lost show, I will then turn my attention to browbeating everyone behind Rapsittie.
