Cosmic Cowboys is a 2003 French-Canadian comedy animated series created by Eddy Marx, and co-produced by Alphanim (Gaumont Animation now), Tooncan, and Europool, with animation services provided by Rai Fiction, Animated Enterprises Hong Kong (Agogo Studios now.), Gruppo Alcuni, Luxanimation, SOFICA France Télévisions Images 2, for France 3 in France, Vrak.TV in Canada, and WDR/ARD in Germany, and the Seven Network in Australia. The show consisted of 52 episodes with a runtime of 13 minutes.^[1]

Premise

Curtis, Dook, and Cereal Bob.

Taking place in the year 3000, two extraterrestrial bounty hunters Dook a green mule-like creature, and Curtis a blue cat-like creature that was a former criminal. Their job is to travel across the galaxies and planets to apprehend a perilous pink rabbit-like creature named Cereal Bob. But despite successfully capturing Cereal Bob and locking him up, he always finds a way to escape.

Availability

Since the show last aired on the Seven Network in Australia, episodes of its English dub hasn’t resurfaced online, or had any official home media releases.

On a previous version of the webpage focused on Cosmic Cowboys on the Gaumont official website, there was a linked archived pdf detailing the "sales to date" which showed a table of the countries and channels the cartoon had aired on.

However the show is officially available on streaming services such as Amazon Prime and Apple TV+, and was released on DVD with three volumes from Episode #1-#27 but are all dubbed in German.

Two episodes of the show are available on YouTube in English but it’s overdubbed in Russian which was uploaded from 2019, and the Gaumont YouTube channel uploaded a minute clip of its English dub a month before this article was created.

It’s been said though unconfirmed that the shows English dub aired on the Canadian channel Teletoon in 2004, but no television recordings of the show airing on there or promos resurfaced online.

YouTuber MIXXPOST has been uploading full episodes of the show onto YouTube in English. It’s possible he could upload the whole series onto his channel.
