MegaMan NT Warrior is an anime adaptation of the MegaMan Battle Network games that ran from 2001 to 2006 and focused on Lan Hikari and his NetNavi (a personal AI companion) MegaMan as they fought evil in the virtual world. The thirtieth episode of the second season MegaMan NT Warrior AXESS was SpoutMan's New Hero!, translated as Aquaman in Love or Lovey-Dovey Aquaman. Airing in Japan on May 1st, 2004, the episode followed Spoutman falling in love with Megaman after he saves his life, following him everywhere and causing Roll to get jealous.
Availability
The episode only aired once on Teletoon in Canada and was intended to air on Kids WB on September 10th, 2005, but instead the episode "Bubbleman's Plan" was aired instead. This led to the English dub of the episode being lost for almost a decade.
However in early 2023, Capcom announced that in order to promote the upcoming release of the Megaman Battle Network Legacy Collection's release on April 14th, they were releasing the entire dubbed series on their YouTube channel to view for free for a limited time- including a proper release of SpoutMan's New Hero for the first time. The episode was on their channel from This episode was available to view from March 23, 2023 to September 20, 2023- however the episode can be viewed on the Wayback Machine.[1]
The episode was also uploaded to Dailymotion by MattysMasquerades on January 2nd, 2024, however this upload has since been removed from the site.
