Back in May of this year I had learned about the show kitty cats, and how it was a piece of lost media. I had wondered if there were any episodes archived, as I read more articles about the show, I had found out that only 2 full episodes had been found in English, besides that just a few rare clips, mostly in French but a few in English and a couple of other languages have been posted to YouTube, but besides that the rest of the series was lost. As I read more articles I discovered that in Australia 4 different volumes containing 4 episodes each had been released, that means that it is possible for 16 full episodes to be floating around out there somewhere in the world. I immediately went to google and searched for kitty cats vhs, the search results were useless they had nothing to do with what I was looking for. Finally I had found a picture on google of 2 out of the 4 volumes cover art, these being volume 3 Bedtime, and volume 1 Birthday Party, then I had searched on eBay for them and I had found nothing no seller had them for sale from any country. About 1 month later on June 14th, I was looking through eBay and found an Australian seller who had volume 3 Bedtime for sale. I immediately purchased it, then a few weeks later on June 28th the seller had listed volume 1 Birthday Party, when he first listed volume 3 Bedtime he said that that it was the only volume that he had, but later on June 28th when I had messaged him and asked him where he had found the second one, he told me that he had found it in an old box of vhs tapes. So around the beginning of July I had received the first Kitty Cats vhs in the mail, I opened it and was thrilled to finally have 1 volume in my hands, so now there was only one thing to do I took it to a local photography shop in my town to be transferred into a dvd. I hope to upload it on YouTube when it is done in two weeks, as of right now I am on vacation and on July 14th the second vhs will arrive in the mail I will be getting home on the 15th, so as of the 15th of July I will officially have the second Kitty Cats vhs, so hopefully I can also get that one transferred. But that’s the story of how I hope to obtain all 4 Kitty Cats volumes and upload then to YouTube. This is a very expensive thing I hope to accomplish, just both the two of the Kitty Cats vhs tapes that I have already purchased have costed me over $100 dollars plus to get the vhs tape transferred it cost $25. So all I ask of everyone is that when I upload these episodes to YouTube that you all please subscribe. I really hope that I can bring back memories from everyone’s childhood who grew up in the 90s and watched the show.
