On the 27th of April, 1981, British band Adam and the Ants, fronted by Adam Ant, released their hit single "Stand and Deliver", as the lead single for the band's third (and last) album, Prince Charming. The track became a massive hit in the band's native UK, entering the charts at number one, and remaining there for 5 weeks.

In 2003, the now-solo Adam Ant worked on an ill-fated charity EP to raise awareness for the endangered mountain gorilla by reworking Stand and Deliver into Save the Gorilla. This was intended to be the lead track for a 5-track charity EP of the same name.[1]2000 copies of the EP were printed, intended to be released on November 17th. 5 days before its intended release date, EMI blocked the EP's release.[2]

The title track has been leaked, and one of the other tracks, Jungle Rock, was officially released by Boz Boorer, the collaborator on the track in question. However, the other 3 tracks are lost. 3 copies of the EP are in circulation, but no rips have been released.

On May 28th, 2019, YouTuber Hayden of Everything uploaded the Rolling Stones cover of Monkey Man that is believed to be part of the EP. He said that he had found it on a file-sharing site called SoulSeek. He also stated that he had the rest of the album, but it has yet to be validated.
