Background Info: In 2012, GoldHill Productions released the film: "Demon of the Flats." It is a 57 minute short horror "found footage" movie filmed in the historic (now torn-down location of The American Flats Mill near Virginia City, NV) The original film can be watched here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-vFpmlXFGk&t=1311s

The Case: In May of 2013, GoldHill Productions filmed a sequel titled: "Demon of The Flats 2: The Lost Tapes" That same year the team edited a trailer/preview of the film and posted it to YouTube. This trailer is the only remaining evidence that there was an entire second film. The movie was not finished being edited and all the files/footage were stored on a USB 1TB external hard drive.

The Location: Sadly in 2014 the American Flats were demolished as Storey County considered the abandoned building(s) a safety hazard, making both "Demon of the Flats" and "Demon of The Flats 2" some of the only recordings to be done there before the demolition. cited here: http://web.archive.org/web/20210320051614/http://iamstillhere.webs.com/

Last known whereabouts: The footage for the second film "Demon of The Flats 2: The Lost Tapes" (ironically named now) was in GoldHill Productions' possession (unfinished, raw footage) until 2016-2017 when the USB 1TB external hard drive was stolen out of a garage in Las Vegas NV along with a DSLR camera, boom-mic and other film-making equipment. The raw footage for the second film has never been recovered.

The team and I over at GoldHill Productions are asking the lost media wiki for help in recovering this raw footage of a place that no longer exists, so that maybe one day we can finish and publish more than a trailer/preview for this film (not to mention the historical value of the footage from a now-demolished location). The footage has been missing for going-on 8 years now and it is our hopes that we may one day find it.
