when i was a child, my father had recorded the mighty morphin power ranger movie (the one with ivan ooze). whenever the ending credits were to come on, this strange movie would begin, possibly something my father had prerecorded on the tape he used. the movie terrified me every time it came on (i watched the power rangers movie pretty frequently with my brother)

from what i remember, it started out with a news reporter freaking out over what was happening in the city along with the city’s residents running all over the streets in panic. after a few minutes, the reporter began to throw up this sort of green/blue-ish foam out of his mouth and began convulsing on the floor then turning into a pile of, from what it seemed like, blue jell-o but still had the ability to talk and even had the clothes he was wearing on. i don’t remember exactly what he was saying, but i do remember a women walking by and being disgusted with what he said and kicking the blob person. then there would be right after that, a horrifying, alien-like puppet looking into the screen. i remember always wanting to rip the vhs out of the player whenever that moment came. there were a few times where i’d brave through the alien part and that’s when it would show a giant, godzilla sized rat terrorizing the city and then beginning to dance. i’ve tried my best to look up anything online using keywords and such, but i haven’t been able to find a single thing on this. no pictures, no clips. nothing. i’ve asked quite a few people and even asked my mom if she remembered what movie it could possibly be, and nothing. it would interesting to see what the hell was the point of this movie, and what the hell was even that alien puppet.
