"Modern Music"(rus. "Современная музыка") was allegedly a soviet 1959 cartoon directed by Zenyth Logodenskaya, it was said to be the first ever Kazakh animated film. Amen Khaidarov allegedly interviewed "this cartoon predated my own 1967 cartoon, but I'm still proud to watch it". We don't know if it's lost or not but Viktor Chugunov and Boris Kalistratov described the film "the cartoon was so bizarre, everything is just abstract patterns, even the characters are abstract. It is colorful and has a meaning: noise can lead to deafness". There is no page about the cartoon, not even in Animator.ru nor in Kino-teatr.ru.
