Talking Patrick Star (later titled as Talking Hilarious Star) was a talking app that was made by an unknown developer in 2010 for IOS. The game was about Patrick Star from the Nickelodeon TV show SpongeBob SquarePants. There were two versions of this game: one for IOS in 2010, and the other for Android in 2015.

App Versions

2010 Version

The 2010 version of this game was made only for iOS and not for Android, there were features such as:

  • Shaking Patrick.
  • Making him laugh.
  • Making him do random things.
  • A record button.

This version was later removed on an unknown date, but years later it would be remade for Android.

2015 Version

Around September 8, 2015, a remake of this game in 3D for Android would get made by the name of Talking Hilarious Star. It was not made by the same developer, but instead was made by a Russian developer named Лодар,[1] Patrick's voice in this version was an unfitting high pitched voice, unlike the 2010 version, which had lines from the show. It was made with an engine called Unity, as well as there being songs in this version such as Battle Cry by Rockers Revenge and It's Tricky by Run-DMC; this was later removed in 2016.

Availability

Despite there being 2 versions, only the 2015 version has been found as an APK file. However, it only works with Android Version 5 and earlier. The 2010 version and the IPA have not been found, but there are screenshots and gameplay recorded by a user named CK The Frog in 2012. However, CK The Frog has stated that he no longer has the app.
