'''''The Beeps''''' is a children's CGI animated series created by Malou Bonicos that aired on Channel 5's Milkshake! block from 2007-2008. The series' about a group of characters called the Beeps living their daily lives on Beep Island. The show also aired in over 65 different countries.

==Development==
The show was originally pitched under the title ''The Wot-a-Lots'' as a stop-motion animated series with a test short titled "Wot-a-Splash!." The characters were made into 3D hand-crafted wooden models made by a group of animators at Cosgrove Hall Films Studios in Chorlton-Cum-Hardy, Manchester in the United Kingdom.<ref>[https://maloubonicos.com/i-love-the-wot-beeps-originally-known-as-the-wot-a-lots-and-then-the-beeps-inspiration-creation-integrity/ Malou Bonicos's illustration on the show.] Retrieved 25 Jul '23</ref> The network initially turned it down until 10 years later when the series was pitched again, but in CGI animation with the characters looking similar to the original short. The network then greenlit the show and went on to run for 65 episodes.

==Status==
After its initial run, the show fell into obscurity with only 1 official DVD release titled ''Here Come The Beeps'' and very few episodes available to watch online until 2024 when 33 episodes were uploaded by various YouTubers. As of now, the rest of the series has yet to resurface.

On June 28th, 2024, a User found the Illustrator page for the show, which contains several links for episodes, these being "Source of the Sapphire Stream", "Peas and Bees!", "Carnival!", "Bounceberry Pie", "Teeny-Beep Takes Off!", "The Bumps!", "The Great Pink Sunset", "Drozzle Dries Up!" and "The Sock-Tree". The links work, however, the episodes themselves are unwatchable. The website also contains the first few minutes of the episode "Up Down Hill", as well as the full episode 2 "Up High Hill" (however it is in Arabic)

On June 29th 2024,LMW User KicketyKickball found a playlist with 10 videos of clips from the show. several of them are from currently unknown episodes, one of the clips is known to be from the episode "The Lost Houses" however, since it has the first few minutes of it, including the title card. the rest of the episodes have yet to be identified. The channel's uploads are fairly recent, so possibly more uploads could be coming up.

On August 30th 2024, LMW User KicketyKickball obtained new episodes of the Beeps which means that the show is now partially lost.
