I'm the guy who uploaded the demos to You Tube - not that I can take any credit for the rip (both that and the audience recording have been circulating among musical collectors for eons). But that's not why I'm writing...

Years ago while I was doing research on the show (probably while putting together that video), I am abso-freakin'-lutely POSITIVE that I read a vintage news article somewhere online which said the Moscow performance was videotaped in its entirety and was being preserved for posterity in Russia (probably at the theater where it was performed). I stumbled in here while working on something else and have now spent too long distracted trying to find that article again, but I may look later when I have more time.

Also, theatre critic Ken Mandelbaum mentioned the show in his book "Not Since Carrie: Forty Years of Broadway Musical Flops." Mandelbaum was notorious for marching into theaters with a camcorder and tripod in tow and recording shows for his own personal use.... and he had enough clout as a journalist that no one would stop him from rolling the camera.

The point is that I wholeheartedly believe video of the complete show exists, and I suspect it's just a matter of time before somebody somewhere unearths it.
