The Big Boss Part II, released on April 2nd, 1976, was a sequel to the 1971 Bruce Lee film The Big Boss. The film also starred martial arts stars Lo Lieh and Chan Wai Man. The film is often confused with another film known as Big Boss II, also released in 1976. However, that film stars "Bruceploitation" star Dragon Lee and is unrelated to this film.

Release

At least one print of the film, dubbed in English, is known to exist and is owned by a Zambian cinema.[1] The previous owner of said print (from South Africa) has posted a ten-minute segment of the film on YouTube, refusing to release the entire film to the public.

A truncated VHS copy of the film was uploaded to YouTube on August 2nd, 2021 by 老孫與小米 Mr & Mrs Sun. Compared to the movie's 100 minute runtime, this copy is only 47 minutes long.

Search Attempts

Members of the Kung Fu Cinema forum attempted to get the South African owner's print in 2010.[2] However, the master reel was sold to the aforementioned Zambian cinema. An English dubbed trailer for the film exists, and multiple posters and magazine article scans exist, but no other print of the film has been found.
