Rogue One: Boots on the Ground was a free browser-based online game that used elements from the 2016 film "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story". The game was a top down shooter that served as a prequel, having the characters go on missions leading up to the events of the movie.

Modes and Availability

Survival

An endless mode described as "arcade" by the publishers.[1] The player would receive objectives continuously until they died. Unlike mission mode, the player did not have the ability to choose which characters they would like on their team, being limited to the same 3 characters every time.[2]

Missions

A level based campaign where the player would receive one objective and be given a limited amount of time to complete it. In this mode, the player was allowed to choose between a cast of characters to comprise a 3 person team with more characters unlocking as they completed missions. While the Survival mode has been archived on resources such as Flashpoint Infinity, the Missions mode remains lost, having only one video in which it is shown.[3]

The only known video of the Missions mode.
