My Scene was an animated web series created to promote the My Scene doll line created by Mattel in 2002. It was a spin-off of the popular fashion doll line Barbie.[1] All episodes of the web series have been archived except for A Snowed-In Holiday.
Background
The My Scene web series was hosted on myscene.com and followed Barbie living in New York with her friends Madison, Chelsea, Nolee, and Delancey, and their boyfriends River, Sutton, Hudson, and Ellis. After extensive legal issues regarding MGA and their popular Bratz dolls,[2] My Scene was discontinued by Mattel in 2011, and the website would later shut down in 2014.
