Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide was a sitcom on Nickelodeon that made its TV debut on September 12, 2004.
The series' original pilot episode aired on September 7th, 2003. This pilot episode had a character named "Boogie" in replace of "Cookie". They were played by Stephen Markarian then later re-casted as Albert Wormenheimer in the show. They decided to re-cast the character now as "Cookie" and was given to Daniel Curtis Lee, to show racial diversity in the school, resulting in an unaired episode titled Ned's Locker. After said episodes were created, production was stopped one year later. The pilot was a success, so the series was picked up for a 13-episode season.
