I Need You is the unreleased sophomore album from American socialite and media personality Paris Hilton, following her successful debut "Paris," originally meant for a 2008 release before being delayed to a late-2010 release[1], before ending up going unreleased for unknown reasons.

In 2013, a sophomore album was teased once again with the promo singles "Good Time" featuring Lil' Wayne and Never Be Alone. However, it's unclear whether this is related to "I Need You" or if it is a separate project[2].

Production

The album most began work sometime in 2007 after the release of her debut album "Paris." A 2008 release was teased on her website alongside a previews of the songs "Girl Tax" & "Platinum Blonde" being released on her website[3][4], along with several song titles & producer credits [5]. Work on the album was delayed due to her appearance on the TV show "Paris Hilton's My New BFF," which was in production around the same time as the album[6].

After 2 years of silence, Hilton stated in July 2010 that "my record is just in production now. I recently finished recording it. It's very like dance, club music." She also stated that the album was influenced by the works of Kylie Minogue, stating, "I really have always loved Kylie Minogue—she's like, one of my favorite artists. I've just been really inspired by her. I just wanted my music to kind of... emulate her."[7].

In 2011, a snippet of the Lead single "Boys, Oh Boys" leaked [8], following the full song leaking on August 5th 2023 [9]. The songs "Child of the 80s"[10], Globetrottin' [11] & the writer's demo of Girl Tax[12] leaking in 2022.

Possible Tracklist

Although the album was finished, no tracklist was ever officially released. This list is incomplete and based on confirmed album tracks, unreleased songs from this era & fan speculation [13][14].
