The original series aired from October 7, 1967 till September 25, 1968 and got 103 segments in 52 episodes. The series was also animated in black and white. It being the last black and white anime produced by Tstsunoko production. It is said that the series was made to cash in on the gag anime boom that started with “Q-Taro the Ghost.” The series was not very successful, and it only got a few toys and sonoshets for merchandise.[[File:Oraaguzura.jpg|left|150x150px]] In 1971, the series got launched in Brazil and was renamed Guzula<ref> [https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5EgK6mBn73iVcjXLYFOI9oy2gkGNVtgW Every episode found of the brazilian dub]</ref>, and there it was still a tiny bit successful, but not as successful as other animes like Perman. There were two Brazilian dubs, one made by Cinecastro and the other made by ACI-SP.

The series was very low budget and often had to reuse frames.

The manga was lauched algongside with the manga, but it's unknown when it ended. Chapters of the manga are avaible to buy in amazon and in some japanese sites despite that no one ever posted them in the internet. There is one arabic guy that has one of the chapters and posted a photo of it<ref>[https://www.instazu.com/media/1431341844448456503 Photo of a page of the manga]</ref> but he didn't post the full manga, and some japanese pepole also posted images of the manga in the internet

This series aired from October 12, 1987 till September 20, 1988 and got 88 segments in 44 episodes, By some reason not every episode was remade. Because this was only a color remake of the original series they didn't had to make new plots. They fully redrew most of the scenes but some times they just redrew over the original frames, This series was also dubbed in various languages, in arabic, italian (1 episode found), french (only a clip found) and hindi.

Like the other series, the japanese dub is lost (It was the same dub because the series was only a remake/colorization of the other series) but there is one clip of the dub avaible in the internet, and almost every episode is avaible in the internet dubbed in arabic<ref>[https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoCdUIQMpdIR33GAdQpCdq6TbAsP92ohD Every episode in color dubbed in arabic (exept episodes 33 and 36)]</ref>, but episodes 33 and 36 are lost because the arabic dub didn't include them, probably because of the content, that's likely becuase one of the segments in those episodes "Guzura and Lucifer!" is said to be about Guzura dying and going to hell but in the end he returns, some pepole from countries on that episode aired mistok that as the final episode, and majority of dubs are lost
The series was considered partially lost, with only the footage being avaible via foreign dubs, until around April 2020, when the series was released on Amazon in Japan<ref>[https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/dp/B087CYHZCL 1987 series on Amazon Japan] Retrieved 25 Apr '20</ref>.

===Not confirmed Enoki films english dub===
Probably there was a english realese of the series, some pepole mistok the series by "Gazula the amicable monster" it's unknown from where these pepole are from, probably hindi? And there is a poster that has the description in english and has the enoki films logo, but that's probably from the french dub because there it calls Guzura "Gozurha" that being his french name (also named Gozura)
