In 1998. ''Big Idea'' partnered with the ''STARS Organization (Students Taking a Right Stand)'' to release ''VeggieTales'' content for public schools. These were known as the '''"Classroom Editions"''' and were made with the intent to teach students good character traits and civic virtues. Three episodes of the show were edited to replace references to Christianity with secular dialogue either by cutting the dialogue in question or having the actors re-record those lines. The only other difference with these versions is the addition of a silly song at the end of the episode. In total four episodes were produced on VHS and distributed by STARS with each tape coming with a study guide and coloring page.
