'Dmtreius96, also known as Shade, was a YouTuber who made fan-made Sonic videos using its character sprites that are used in various video games in the Sonic franchise. Around early 2008, their channel grew in populairty after they posted a video titled "Sonic, Shadow and Silver goes to Japan" garnering 10,000 to 100,000 views around late 2009 to early 2010. After that video, he made other subsequent videos that attracted the masses such as "Amy Moves in" and "Attack of the Amy Clones" which garnered around 500,000 to 1 million views.
