Die Utopen or Utopia is a 1967 German animated film made by Vlado Kristl. The film was produced by Boris von Borresholm and the music was made by Joseph Anton Riedl at the GKS-Film Karl Schedereit studio. The film is about 9 minutes long.

Plot

iMDB provides the synopsis for the cartoon with:

Cartoon showing the “Utopes”- talented, unconventional, double-faced creatures. They are split by a uniformed man with a sabre - individually forced into submission by totalitarian ideology.

In short, the plot of the cartoon is about an individual whom wields a sword which they then use to slice up two-faced monsters in half.

On January 16th, 2024, Lost Media Wiki member Smeshariki.ru began searching for the cartoon beginning their search on various sites such as IMDb, Letterboxd, Kinopoisk and DOK Leipzig, on which they discovered three available frames of the short from these sites. On Mubi, a person by the name of pagsipat sent a YouTube link to the short back in 2020, but the link they had provided was terminated for unknown reasons.
