Frenchies is a Filipino frozen food brand by Consolidated Dairy Corporation, the same company behind Milk Magic milk product. In 2000, commercials advertising the frozen food brand was made which aired on major Philippine TV networks that time.

Premise

There are variants of the said commercial. One is the "Mafia" commercial. The mafia shooter holding a gun, then a bag of Frenchies was grabbed. a shooter was walked, while a bag was opened and the french fries was dunked in a oil. The mafia shooter was hiding then the french fries was cooked and sprinkled in salt. The shooter hold the gun was shot while seeing a family eating the french fries, with voice over saying "Watching Movies on TV, Knows best with Frenchies French Fries, The Cook-It-Yourself French Fries" ends the commercial.

There is also a short version of the "Mafia" commercial with the shooter hold the gun was shot while seeing a family eating the french fries, with voice over saying "Watching Movies on TV with Frenchies French Fries, The Cook-It-Yourself French Fries". Another version of the "Mafia" commercial was aired in 15 seconds with the cooking part, then the same short version of the ad was shown. The 2010 revision of the ad was also made with the red packaging appeared in the last frame, along with a promotion of the Zesty Fries variant with the voiceover saying "Enjoy with new Frenchies Zesty Fries".

Availability

According to eyewitnesses, the commercial was aired on certain shows on ABS-CBN, PTV/NBN, ABC 5 and RPN 9, along with Eat Bulaga on GMA 7 in different versions. It was aired in 2000 until 2010s.
