Muppet Guys Talking is a documentary film directed by Frank Oz, that premiered at the 2017 SXSW festival before being released on an exclusive website a year later. It depicts a conversation recorded between himself and fellow Muppeteers Bill Barretta, Jerry Nelson, Fran Brill and Dave Goelz. The final, 65-minute film released to the website was whittled down from a nine-hour conversation.[1]
However, around the time the film was released, some extra clips were released, but not to the general public. These included outtakes from the conversation, behind the scenes footage, and moments with the cast. These were initially available to those who signed up for the $97 "Below Stage Pass" option, which was available for exactly one week after the movie's online release. A DVD was also released around this same time, and made available for that same timeframe, and exclusively to VIP members, containing the movie itself and all but two of the extra clips (those two being "Extras! The Great Muppet Caper" and "Jerry Nelson solves a mystery about all the Muppet guitarists").[2]
Since the movie's release, none of the extra clips were made available outside of those two options and they have never circulated online. According to Muppet Wiki, these include:
