Boogietown is a dance, sci-fi, romance film directed by Chris Stokes, produced by Vivendi Entertainment and protagonized by Marques Houston and Brenda Song playing the lead couple.[1]
Premise
The film is described as a "West Side Story" for the hip hop generation, a retelling of the tragedy Romeo and Juliet in a futuristic NYC where dance battles were prohibited.[2]
Availability
The film was initially scheduled to be inaugurated at the year of 2009[3], it then got postponed until the year of 2011,[4] the film's website is now defunct[5] and as far as august of 2023 there haven't been any updates about the movie.
