In September of 1991, the Italian gaming magazine known as 'The Games Machine' had a article talking about the original Sonic the Hedgehog being ported to computers such as the Commodore Amiga. It was going to be published by U.S Gold and it probably would be released in June of 1992. Two screenshots have surfaced, sourced out of the aforementioned Italian magazine article (as you can see to the right) and in it you can see that the Green Hill Zone screenshot seems to match neither the Genesis nor Game Gear versions of the title, implying the game had entirely new level designs and possibly even new levels, similar to the Game Gear version. Also the title screen depicts Sonic's "American" design as opposed to the Japanese version. The sprite of the character in-game is closer to the Game Gear version, but appears to lack shading. | |||

It was going to be published by U.S Gold and it probably would be released in June of 1992.
