Asin at Ilaw (transl. Salt and Light) is a 30 minute religious program co-produced by Good News Productions International and the group of Churches of Christ in the Philippines (1901) exclusively to Born-Again Christians, which is aired on RPN 9 from 1994 to 2007 and on IBC 13 from 2008 to 2011. The show was a recipient of the Anak TV seal by the group Southeast Asian Foundation For Children's Television from 2003 to 2007 during the RPN 9 years and 2008 to 2011 during the IBC 13 years. It is hosted by Bro. Mel Maldalupan, Bro. Jo Orillza, Bro. Rodger Miguel and Bro. Danny Banngo[1]. It is a longest serving religious program in the Philippines for 16 years, which later surpassed by Oras ng Himala in 2011, Diyos at Bayan and PJM Forum in 2013, Friends Again in 2014, Ang Tamang Daan in 2016, Family TV Mass in 2017, Give Us This Day in 2018,Kerygma TV/Feast TV in 2019, The Healing Eucharist in 2021, and The Word Exposed in 2023.

Information

Although the show is bible based, the first part features a lesson with reading of bible verses along with the dramatic scenes staring uncredited actors doing these scences during the lessons. the show also features musical performances in between the lessons and the Q&A portion. The second part Q&A portion which features questions from its viewers. The show aired on several networks, with the last one on IBC 13 from 2008 to 2011. The show aired every Saturday morning and its studio was RPN's Broadcast City Studio from 1994 to 2007 and at The Linden Suites in Pasig City from 2008 to 2011.
