BFDIA 6 Deleted Scenes.jpg

Status: Partially Found

The sixth episode of Battle for Dream Island Again, nicknamed BFDIA 6, was the planned sixth episode of Battle for Dream Island Again. It was initially planned for a release on September 1st, 2013, but faced an indefinete delay and was ultimately cancelled and replaced with a new season, IDFB.

Premise

Ater returning to the ground after climing Yoyle Mountian, the BFDIA contestants cannot return to the plains (the show's main setting) because Ruby glued the Hand-powered Recovery Center to the ground. The contestants then decide to live in Yoyle City as a result. The contest is unknown, although Puffball was eliminated.

History

After the release of BFDIA 5e: The Long-lost Yoyle City, the sixth episode was set to release on September 1st, 2013, but on August 27th of that same year, it was announced the show would go on a hiatus because of the creators of the show (Cary and Michael Huang) were going to focus on school.

For about 2 years, the status on the episode has remained silent, until a update video was uploaded to Jacknjellify on January 20th, 2016 (the channel that uploads Battle for Dream Island) stating that the second part of the first episode of Battle for Dream Island was taken down off youtuhe for unknown reasons. They stated in the video that BFDIA "is not dead", and Michael and Cary Huang talk every few weeks about possible ways of reviving the show.[1]

Over the course of a couple months, some videos and tweets were made relating to the episode's status, most jotably revealing that the account's AdSense was taken down in 2014, which took away their income for making Battle for Dream Island Again. It wasn't until July 23rd, 2016 that the release date for the episode would be revealed in a video called "BFDI Is Back", where it says that the episode would be released on September 1st, 2016 at 8:00 AM Pacific Time.

On August 23rd, 2016, the episode's "deleted scenes" were released on YouTube.[2]</ref> The episode's beginning is fully animated, while the rest of the episode was the audio track.

On August 30th, 2016, another video that was released called "Coming Thursday" was released, where more of the episode's audio would be shown.[3]

On September 1st, 2016, the episode that was believed to be BFDIA 6 did not come out, and instead, a episode for an entirely new season titled "dnalsI roF maerD elttaB", or "IDFB" was released instead. The episode did show some info of what would have happened in the episode, however.

On September 25th, 2016, a video titled "Back 2 School Bad News" was released, saying that IDFB 2 was delayed to December 1st of that same year. At the end of the video, Michael Huang states that he would be releasing all of the source files, or .flas for all of the Battle for Dream Island and Battle for Dream Island Again episodes, which included 2 files for BFDIA 6, "recommended characters.fla" and "Cake at Stake.fla".[4]

On February 6th, 2018, the BFDIA episode files were released.[5] However, the 2 episode files of BFDIA 6 were nowhere to be seen.
