This is a page where users can request articles for lost media. Please note that this list is not heavily moderated, so before writing an article from this page, you should make sure that the media conforms to our eligibility rules.

It is also highly recommended that you include at least one reliable source confirming it exists (or had any production at all in the case of cancelled media), especially if the media in question is fairly obscure or hard to find information on.

Recordings of Sports Events

  • 1979 American Professional Slow Pitch Softball World Series (found ESPN broadcast of softball game; 1979) [499]
  • FIFA Women's World Cup non-Final match telecasts [500] - FIFA has uploaded all of the Women's World Cup Finals to FIFA Plus, but not much else for some reason. A few unofficial uploads exist here and there (particularly for the 1999, 2015, and 2019 editions), but getting footage for other match broadcasts has proven significantly difficult. - SpaceManiac888
  • Lucas Oil NHRA SuperNationals (2008 NHRA event) Broadcast was replaced by coverage of Kalitta's death.
  • NBA Final telecasts (prior to 1979)
  • Professional wrestling territorial telecasts [501] From what I gather, most American professional wrestling territories saved money by taping over their broadcasts. WWE acquired many tapes throughout the decades and uploaded them to the WWE Network. However, not even WWE can provide the full libraries, be it because of missing episodes or for legal reasons (for instance, a weekly Mid-South show will not be on the Network because of the shear extent of music rights required). World Class Championship Wrestling has a few damaged or missing tapes according to former WWE Director of VOD and Supervising Producer John Carlan. - SpaceManiac888
  • The Rose Bowl telecasts (prior to 1975)
  • Various lost IndyCar race broadcasts (1962-present) Most missing USAC/CART/IRL race broadcasts have since been documented. Others such as from Indy Lights could be documented in the future. - SpaceManiac888
  • Various lost NASCAR race broadcasts (1960-present) [502] Most missing Grand National/Cup Series race broadcasts have since been documented. However, there are plenty of missing Busch Series, regional events, and ARCA races that are also worthy of their own articles. - SpaceManiac888

  • Adamo: the acqua e vita (lost Italian animated series; 1977) [504]
  • Air Raiders (lost possibly unaired Sunbow animated series; 1986)[505] I would assume production might've slated this for a release sometime in either the late 1980s or early 1990s. Scripts can be rather time-consuming and sometimes it'll be hard to see what would make the show work. Sunbow and Marvel probably had a hard time deciding on whether or not to simply adapt the comic books, or just make an entirely new plot, and how the characters would've been portrayed. They might've also had concerns over how parents would feel as it could've been too violent for the time, even compared to Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers. Nothing about it says that it was cancelled at one point, but I would happen to say it might've been cancelled sometime around either 1989, or 1990, with more than likely only a pilot being made. - Extreme Wreck 2000

  • Eunbi & Kkabi: 1000 Gute Taten (partially found Slovak-Korean animated series; 1991) [538] Yes, there was a cartoon produced in Slovakia back in the early 1990s, though it seems to have been a co-production between some Slovakian studio & Sei Young Animation from South Korea. This is the only footage of it on the entire internet BTW, and from the looks of it, it seems to be of a German dub. Not sure if the German dub uses the same theme song as the original Slovak version, or if this is an entirely different theme song made for this dub. - Extreme Wreck 2000

  • Geometric Fables (partially found French CGI animated series; 1989)[541][542] This one surprisingly predates VeggieTales by 4 years, though reportedly these are 5 minutes in length instead of being half an hour in length like most cartoons at this point in time. Just more proof that France was truly ahead of its time. It was eventually dubbed in Hebrew around 1994, this time they had extra segments to make up 11-minute episodes, suggesting that the Hebrew dub contains original segments that weren't in the original French version. Kind of interesting actually. - Extreme Wreck 2000

  • Haunted Mansion (Disney TVA version of theme park ride) [546]
  • The Haunted Pork Beans Unit (lost European animated series; existence unconfirmed; 1990s?)[547] I would try to explain what this is, but I think Yossarian himself explained it best: Literally the weirdest cartoon I’ve ever seen. Must be European or something. It’s about this kid who gets mauled by a huge black dog. He manages to escape but over the course of a couple of days the wound - which won’t heal - starts giving him all these whacky low-level powers, like being able to tell if a TV is on or locating lost furniture (I know, right?). Anyway, this freaks the kid out and he faints; wakes up in this macabre hospital and spends his recovery time solving vaguely supernatural mysteries with the (now talking) arm wound and one of the nurses (who may or may not be two piglets stacked up and in disguise). Shit was crazy. The most surprising thing is I’ve never seen anything about it online: no videos, no wiki, no one seems to remember it when I bring it up. There’s nothing. All I’ve got is a ratty VHS recording with a few episodes on it and I haven’t even got a tape deck to play it on. - Yossarian. Really makes you wonder... - Extreme Wreck 2000

  • Blackjack (lost Atari 8-Bit game by Color Software; 1980)[724]
  • Blaster Master 2 (lost build of cancelled Super Nintendo sequel to NES platformer; existence unconfirmed; 1990s?) I would say that this is probably someone wanting Sunsoft to make a better sequel than the one Sound Images had developed for the Sega Genesis. I wouldn't blame him. The Sound Images sequel was terrible, though the music was mostly pretty good. - Extreme Wreck 2000
  • Bounce Back (lost build of unreleased Atari 7800 game; existence unconfirmed; 1980s?) Another mystery from the Undumped Wiki. - Extreme Wreck 2000

Not much information surrounds this thing online, but Computer Bomber Game has been found, & its loading screen has a picture of a truck with the Ford logo on the bottom alongside the word "trucks". I would assume that this was some kind of promotional contest Ford did in the United Kingdom, but I'm not certain on that. - Extreme Wreck 2000

  • Crater Rangers (lost build of supposedly unreleased Psygnosis Amiga game; 1992)[755] This game is only known to have appeared on season 2 of Nick Arcade as a face-off game of sorts. The fact that it was made by Psygnosis, a legitimate video game developer for the Amiga, suggests that it was actually made using an Amiga, meaning a build that was playable using the Amiga keyboard was made possibly either for testing purposes or the Nick Arcade version was a modified version of a game that was set for release beforehand but got cancelled. - Extreme Wreck 2000

The first game, "Jade Rosseau: The Secret Revelations #1: The fall of Sant' Antonio" was released in June 2010 and ended on a cliffhanger. The company planned to release 5 more episodes as part of "season one", and then planned to have a "season two" and "season three" with unknown numbers of episodes. However, they don't appear to have ever released any other games for this series. Their site is offline now, but the most recent Wayback captures indicate that they had provisional box art and working titles for the five other planned games for "season one". - TropesAreDangerous
