Hayazashi Nidan Morita Shogi 2 (早指し 二段森田将棋2 Rank-2 Quick Match: Morita Shogi 2) is a cancelled 1995 Famicom board game that is a port of the released SFC game of the same name. The game was developed by Random House and published by Seta. It was meant to be last game for the system in May 1995.

The FC version was cancelled for unknown reasons.

Gameplay

The computer thinking time is further reduced, making the smooth gameplay more enjoyable. Also, the prepared mode, if cleared, gives the player the joy of earning a Japan Shogi Association certified dan right at home. Because of the strength of 4th dan, games are played at high skill level. The computer's strength is approximately 2nd dan, thinking time for one hand is about 10 seconds.

While at home, inadvertently earn a dan. The player first move, second move, hisha ochi (without rook), kaku ochi (without bishop) among other various configurations are possible. Through the game, the player can win a real genuine dan.[1]

Prototype cartridge sold?

After cancellation of the version, a prototype was sold to a collector for 30,000 yen and 200,000 yen.
