Câu Chuyện Rừng Xanh (transl. "Tales of the Forest") was a children's puppet TV series which aired on the Vietnamese children's TV channel VCTV8 BiBi (now ON BiBi) in 2010[1], with a re-run in 2012[2].
There were 100 25-minute episodes in all, which aired at 17:30 daily from 1 June 2010.
Premise
The series focused on the daily life of and interactions between anthropomorphic animals living in a forest, imparting lessons to children on appreciating life, respecting the environment, and good moral character.[1]
The episodes covered 19 main storylines[1], including:
- Chú gấu lông dài (transl. "The Long-Haired Bear")
- Chú khỉ thông minh (transl. "The Clever Monkey")
- Bạn của sư tử (transl. "The Lion's Friend(s)")
- Miu Miu và Mi Mi (transl. "Miu Miu and Mi Mi")
- Chú sói thân thiện (transl. "The Friendly Wolf")
- Anh em nhà kiến (transl. "The Ant Brothers")
- Cún con tinh nghịch (transl. "The Mischievous Puppy" / "The Playful Puppy")
- Vua hổ con (transl. "King Little Tiger")
- Kiều Kiều và sói tím (transl. "Kieu Kieu and the Purple Wolf")
