Status: Partially Found

Thugs on Film is an American adult animated web series created by Dan Todd. The series was produced by Mondo Mini Shows and regularly released episodes exclusively online throughout 1999 to 2001. Similarly to other Mondo Media shows, episodes were available to watch on various flash-supported websites.

Plot

Thugs on Film follows two English criminals named Cecil and Stubby with a love and passion for movies. The two make jokes, express criticism, and appreciation towards the latest blockbusters or notable movies of the past. At the end of their review, the two rate the film based on the number of Rolex's worn up their sleeve. At the end of each episode, an interactive trivia quiz begins with two different animations for getting the question right or wrong.

Availability

The series was available to watch on a weekly basis on multiple flash-supported websites during the late 90s and 2000s. Like other early Mondo Media shows, episodes would slowly be removed from the official website. Seven episodes were uploaded to the offical Mondo Media YouTube channel albeit without the quiz segment.[1].

On 2007, three episodes were uploaded by Dailymotion user, "Joey".

Using the Internet Archive, a list of episodes from Reel, Washington Post, and BBC America were available for download.[2] [3] [4]
