Launch Box's title card.

Status: Partially found

In 1991, Nickelodeon introduced a half-hour educational program called Launch Box. The series ran until 1994, and it takes place on the set of Nickelodeon's game show Get The Picture, as hosted by Mike O'Malley. Along with Nick News with Linda Ellerbee, Launch Box was a Cable in the Classroom program, where it would air commercial-free very early in the morning so the teacher could record the episodes and presents them in class to help children learn.

The show's main focus is teaching children about space and the technology related to it. It has sketches and other segments to make it more fun (Including a Star Trek homage with people from various Nickelodeon series). Episodes are hosted by a variety of Nickelodeon stars from the time, including Jason Zimbler and Robin Marella. Interesting enough, NASA had a hand in developing this show as well.

Only one episode titled "The Inner Planets" and the intro sequence to "Space Training" have been found online. NASA has uploaded the intro sequence, as has someone else on YouTube. "The Inner Planets" was uploaded by the episode's writer/producer Karim Miteff (kmiteff) and the intro was also uploaded by user ClassicNickelodeon2.

It is unknown how many episodes this show has, however there are a minimum of 6 [including the 2 listed above].
