I have a theory that a second pilot exists

as you know, the original pilot doesn't exactly match the final show, but there could have been a second pilot that was done to look more like the show. in episode 43 "Coachnik" about 4 minutes in, scratch and grounder watch a video about how much they fail. there isn't any shading, and backgrounds look more like the actual show. another theory could have been that there was a pilot explaining all the characters backstories. in the episodes "momma robotniks birthday" and "tails' new home", a few scenes contain backstories with the same coulors of darkish blue and black, which suggests that this could also be a second pilot.
