Friday Night Slimetime (partially found Nickelodeon game show; 2005-2006)
Friday Night Slimetime was a game show that aired from September 23rd, 2005-March 24th, 2006 in between regular programs that aired on friday nights and was hosted by Lil' JJ and Chloe Dolandis.
Show Format
The show was taped from the outdoor courtyard of the Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank, California for its first season[1] and the Nickelodeon Hotel in Orlando, Florida for its second season.[2] On the show, contestants are pulled straight from the audience and they played messy games like Nicktoon Spew & A, Fill ‘er up and Spongebob Shootout and they also tested their knowledge of Nicktoons. When the games are over, contestants earned the chance to compete in the “Friday Night Faceoff” – the dance contest finale with great moves like Dance Dance Revolution. The ultimate winner goes home with a great prize and an unbelievable sliming.[3] Unlike its predecessor Slime Time Live, its segments were prerecorded. It lasted for two back to back seasons and was hosted by Lil' JJ and Chloe Dolandis (who had previously hosted Nickelodeon SPLAT!).[4] Nickelodeon had a talent hold on Lil' JJ and was forced to give him a show to finish out his contract. Because of this, Dave Aizer was brought on board as a writer and also occasionally announced the prizes.[5] The most common prizes on it were either a bicycle or athletic balls. It also aired a special edition called, Monday Knight Slimetime on February 20th, 2006.[6] It was replaced by Nick Friday Night on April 7th, 2006.[7]
