Temptation is a film musical that stars Hollywood actress Zoe Saldana. The film was written by Sydney Forest and John Taylor and was directed by Mark Tarlov. The film wrapped up filming in 2004 and was screneened shortly after producrtion. The film featured an ensemble of live-action and animation with surreal sets and backgrounds[1].
Premise
The story retells the German legend and folktale Faust having a deal with the devil and is presented in a musical form, primarily within the genre of rock. There is little to no dialogue in the movie as the dialogue for most of the film was mostly sang by the actors[2].
Availability
Temptation never saw the light of day in public release nor any abundance of physical media after premiering only once in 2004 at the New York Musical Festival.[3]
The musical tracks performed in the first act of the musical was uploaded to Bandcamp by the official account that managed the musical[4]. Set pictures from the musical has also been released and is available online.
