The Pray The Rosary advocacy was commissioned by the late Irish-American Catholic priest Patrick Payton in 1991. The commercial was created by Philippine branch Family Rosary Crusade.

The commercial became iconic to Filipinos who watched it in the 1990s. It is aired before the show and aired alongside ABC-5's Station ID starting in 1992. The commercial was later became part of FRC's hour-long programs.

Premise

The commercial begins with a footage of protesters was blocked by the police, while the graphic showing the word "ASK" while heard the sound of the crying baby which is also appeared in a footage, then the graphic showing the word "For" while the sounds of shooting guns is heard along with the footage of soldiers holding guns, and the graphic saying "PEACE" is shown with an audio clip saying "The people caught in the crossfire" then a footage of people living in poverty is shown. The commercial ends with the graphic saying "WE ASK FOR PEACE" and the image of Jesus appeared in the garden along with the voiceover saying "We Ask for Peace. In the name of the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit." The image of Jesus is surrounded by a graphic saying "Pray the Rosary Daily. The Family The Prays Together, Stays Together." appears on screen.
