Intermares Water Park was a Brazilian water park that was located in the city of Cabedelo that operated from 1993 to 2004.[1] The water park used to have 40.000 square meters and 2 free fall water slides, named Kamikaze and Free Fall.[1] In the late 90's, a commercial was made for Intermares Water Park, that used to be broadcasted in Brazilian TV stations such as TV Cabo Branco.[2]

Info

It is currently unknown what the commercials were about, but what is known is that the commercial was broadcasted in regional TV stations in the state of Paraiba such as TV Cabo Branco.[3]

Closure

Intermares Water Park closed its doors in 2004. The former owner of the water park, Sebastiao Quintans, alleged that the water park closed due to financial problems.[4] For years, the plot that used to be the Intermares Water Park became abandoned, until it was repurposed years later as a strip mall called GETMall.[2]

Availability

No footage of the commercial is available online, but the only internet page that proves its existence is a tweet made by a Brazilian internet user called Teodoro.[5]
