How I Met Your Mother: Last Forever (partially lost deleted scenes from sitcom finale; 2014)
On March 31, 2014, the finale for the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, entitled Last Forever, premiered. It was met with polarizing reviews from fans and critics. Since its airing, several actors have stated that there were 18 minutes of deleted scenes. [1][2]. A few of these scenes were included on the Season 9 DVD, though some still remain lost.

Lunch Scene
In 2020, Ted and Robin are having lunch at a restaurant. Robin tells Ted that she was gored by a bull, and how after the incident, she would stay in the city for a while. Afterwards, Ted asks how they ended up there. Robin then admits that she should have ended up with Ted. Ted then mentions that he meant to ask how they ended up at the restaurant instead of the bar. Ted informs Robin that he is happy, and leaves the restaurant, but not before doing a little salute to Robin.
August 31 Scene
On August 31st, 2019, Barney is seen smoking inside the bar. Carl comes up and tells him he's not allowed to. Barney then tells Carl about what he had been doing all month, Carl then tells him that there are actually 31 days in August and that today was the 31st. Upon checking the time, Barney gets up from his seat and attempts to speak to a woman before midnight.
Robin Sparkles Scene
In 2013, at Barney and Robin's Wedding Reception, right before Ted is about to leave, Robin tells everyone how much they mean to her and how she wanted to give them all something to thank them. She decided to write each of them a poem about their friendship and inscribe it on a piece of sea glass, which they could use as a Christmas Tree Ornament. She then remarks that it was a lame idea, and begins singing her song "Let's Go To The Mall", with Tracy's Band. [3]
The Mid Credits Scene
In 2030, after Ted and Robin have gotten back together, Marshall and Lily are about to go to sleep, and Marshall, on the phone with Ted and Robin, receives the news. He then puts down the phone and asks Lily for her payment. Upon receiving his five bucks, Marshall sings a song. He then thanks Lily and she says that she loves him. She turns off the lamp and they go to sleep. [4]

Tracy's Funeral
During the montage of pictures of Ted and Tracy throughout the years, one missing from the final episode is one of Tracy's Funeral. According to the original script of the episode, the photo supposedly had a small chapel, as Ted is wearing a black suit, being comforted by Marshall, Robin, Barney, and Lily, as a minister speaks.[5][6][7][8] [9][10]
Tracy and Ted
Another deleted photo of Tracy is mentioned in the script, in which Tracy makes an English Muffin sing whilst Ted laughs. It is unknown if the scene was filmed.[5]
Ranjit's Limo
After Ted and Tracy's Wedding, they hop inside Ranjit's Limo, as he drives away while the rest of the gang cheers them on. This scene was mentioned in the original script, though it is unknown if it was ever filmed.[5]
