Status: Partially Found

Talking Spongebob (formerly called Interactive SpongeBob) is a app from Double A Games & Apps, the same studio as the Talking Patrick Star app, the game was based on the Nickelodeon TV show SpongeBob SquarePants, and like the Talking Patrick Star app, there were two versions: one for IOS in 2010, and a other one for Android in 2014.

App Versions

2010 Version

This version of the app was made in 2010, named Interactive SpongeBob, which was only for IOS and not for Android, and it was $0.99, this version is similar to the 2010 version of Talking Patrick Star, with it being made by the same studio, but with SpongeBob and not Patrick, and like Talking Patrick, the features are the same with there being a record button and stuff, the Spongebob sprites are also taken from an old SpongeBob Flash game by the name of SpongeBob's Bubble Bustin' Game. This was removed on an unknown date, but then years later it was from remade for android along with Talking Patrick.

2014 Version

On October 9, 2014, a remake of the game in 3D was made by a Russian studio named Moarbile, which also made the Talking Patrick 3D remake, it also has the same background as the Talking Patrick app, as well as it being similar to it, but with SpongeBob, it was made with the Unity engine. It had activities such as:

  • SpongeBob Singing
  • Playing Football
  • SpongeBob playing the guitar
  • Spongebob Dancing
  • And other activities

This version of the app was later removed, most likely around the same time as the Talking Patrick app in 2016.

Availability

So far, not much is known about it, only the release date, the studio that made it, the price of the 2010 version, other APKS and other stuff about it, there is also a link to a now deleted YouTube video, that is potentially from the app, possibly a gameplay of the app or something.
