The Worst Intros on the Internet was a series by YouTuber MrBeast which ran from 2015 until 2018, before all of the videos were switched to private.[1] At least 70 videos were created.
Synopsis
In 2015, MrBeast launched the series Worst Intros On The Internet, where he humorously critiqued poorly made YouTube intros, often Minecraft-themed and created by young, amateur content creators. Each episode featured MrBeast reacting to these intros with exaggerated comedic responses and recurring jokes, such as references to "drinking bleach" or "losing brain cells," adding a unique flair that attracted a dedicated audience.
The series ran until 2018, producing over 70 episodes before all were set to private. The most commonly accepted reason for privatization is that they were edgier in comparison to his recent, more lighthearted, family-friendly content.[2]
Running Jokes
One of the standout features of Worst Intros On The Internet was MrBeast's use of recurring jokes that added a unique comedic flair to the series:
- "Drinking Bleach": A darkly humorous exaggeration where MrBeast would react to an exceptionally bad intro by joking, "This intro is so bad, I am going to drink bleach."
