TheBeagles-TVLP600.jpg The Beagles was the last cartoon produced by Total Television Productions which aired on CBS from September 10, 1966 to September 2nd, 1967

It was inspired by The Beatles, of which at the time had a cartoon series (produced by King Features) airing on ABC

The show focuses on The Beagles (Stringer [voiced by Mort Marshall] and Tubby [voiced by Allen Swift, an occurring voice actor for TTV dating back to The King and Odie]) and their publicity stunt happy manager Scotty [also voiced by Allen Swift]

The show has a complicated reason for it being lost ranging from The widow of a deceased editor choked out all the masters and editing equipment out the window to a shipping fuck up from Golden Books Family Entertainment's end

While Joe Harris (co-founder of Total Television and creator of Underdog) recently mentioned on an interview to Mark Arnold for the book "Created and Produced by Total Television Productions" that he has the masters of the show, It's not known whether or not DreamWorks Classics (the current rights holder to the Total Television library) would be interested in the obscure piece of TTV's history

On YouTube, only small pieces of the show are found courtesy of YouTuber "dandydeal" as he uploaded only half of the story "The Man on The Moon" and the episode "I Feel Like Humpty Dumpty" while the inactive YouTube channel "toontracker" has only the first part of the story "Foreign Legion Flops"
