Despite the fact that it is a part of one of Toei's three Tokusatsu franchises, and every other ''Metal Hero'' series being released on DVD, for some reason, the ''Kabutack'' TV series didn't get a DVD release, except for the Direct-To-Video Christmas special. Since the Christmas special got a DVD release, it got subbed in English some years ago and it's easy to find online. Songs of the show had been released on CD too.

The show did get a VHS release in Japan. However, rips of those had never been uploaded on the internet, so copies of the episodes are very sought after among Tokusatsu fans and collectors.

Despite the fact that it is a part of one of Toei's three Tokusatsu franchises, and every other Metal Hero series being released on DVD, for some reason, the Kabutack TV series didn't get a DVD release, except for the Direct-To-Video Christmas special. Since the Christmas special's DVD release, it has been subtitled in English and it's easy to find online. Songs of the show had been released on CD too.

The show did get a VHS release in Japan. However, rips of those had never been uploaded on the internet, so copies of the episodes are very sought after among Tokusatsu fans and collectors.

Currently, only four screenshots of the show have surfaced via a page on Japanese blogging site RakutenBlog, by user "heroheroine".

On December 25th, 2017, the whole show has been found and ripped from Toei's YouTube channel by Nyaa torrents user GuSTaVauM.
