A trailer for the pilot.

Catscratch is an American animated television series created by Doug TenNapel (known for creating Earthworm Jim). It was aired on both Nickelodeon and Nicktoons in 2005. It was also shown on Nickelodeon UK / Ireland in 2006. It is a lighthearted adaption of TenNapel's graphic novel, Gear, which is also the name of the cats' monster truck.

On 2004, Doug TenNapel produced a pilot episode for Catscratch, showing early versions of the cats, Human Kimberly, Hovis and Waffle's newts. The pilot's plot is has not been confirmed, but, allegedly, it is about the cats going to a toy store and meeting the human, Kimberly.

What's unusual is the fact that the pilot episode never resurfaced anywhere, whether it be the Internet or a television re-run. A trailer for the pilot was uploaded onto YouTube on October 29, 2013.
