Christina Christian placed sixth on the first season of ''American Idol''. According to a now-defunct, but archived, website about her, she signed with Epic Records sometime in 2003 and planned to release an album that same year.<ref>[https://web.archive.org/web/20040202130944/http://www.christina-connection.8k.com/index2.html The Christina Connection - News]</ref> The album was never released. It's title and track listing are both unknown. The same archived website for Christian stated that her album was set to "be released [first] in Europe".<ref>[https://web.archive.org/web/20050113123926/http://www.christina-connection.8k.com:80/bio2.html Christina Connection - Bio]</ref> In 2004, on a Results Episode of ''American Idol'''s third season, Christian performed an original song from her planned album. The song, titled "Forever or Never", was described in the press as a single, although there is no indication that the song was ever released commercially or to radio, and it is not believed that a studio version of the song was ever made publicly available.<ref>[https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/a14192/tarantino-to-guest-on-american-idol/ Tarantino to guest on 'American Idol']</ref><ref>[https://www.realitytvworld.com/news/camile-velasco-becomes-fourth-american-idol-finalist-be-eliminated-2458.php Camile Velasco becomes the fourth 'American Idol' finalist to be eliminated]</ref><ref>[https://greensboro.com/tv-notes-quotes/article_2be2e74c-a774-51c4-9621-7713b9ac50c1.html TV NOTES & QUOTES]</ref><ref>[https://web.archive.org/web/20040416041522/http://et.tv.yahoo.com/tv/2004/04/14/paulaidolmovieweek/ Idols Tackle the Big Screen]</ref> The live performance from ''American Idol'' can still be seen on YouTube.<ref>[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaGZTENf1Mw "Forever or Never" on ''American Idol'']</ref> A 2005 article by ''The Miami Herald'' reported that, at that time, Christian was still hoping to release her album. The article also stated that Christian had "written more than 40 songs". Only one of those songs was named in the article: "I'll Wait for Love", which the article stated was written by Christian for her 2004 wedding.<ref>[https://web.archive.org/web/20060127084836/http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/special_packages/5min/11416593.htm Christina Christian, after 'Idol']</ref> In 2007, an original song by Christian, titled "Hypnotized", was uploaded to YouTube. The YouTube video includes promotional art describing "Hypnotized" as a single. The promotional art also states that "Hypnotized" was released by Slick Salt Entertainment and was "First played on WHYI (Miami)".<ref>[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4fLqQGnQ4Y "Hypnotized" on YouTube]</ref> An archived page from Idolforums.com and a thread on pulsemusic.proboards.com both back up the description of "Hypnotized" as a single and indicate that the song's initial release date was likely in 2007.<ref name="Idol Forums">[https://web.archive.org/web/20080612084637/http://idolforums.com/index.php?showtopic=539090 Archived page from Idol Forums about Christian's music]</ref><ref name="Proboards">[https://pulsemusic.proboards.com/thread/7741/christina-christian-hypnotized Proboards thread about Christian's music]</ref> According to the ''York Dispatch''-published blog Idol Chatter, "Hypnotized" was not released for sale.<ref>[https://idolchatteryd.com/christina-christians-idol-performances/ Christina Christian ''Idol Chatter'']</ref> Christian once had several original songs available on her now-defunct MySpace page. The exact number of those songs is unknown, and it is unclear which, if any, of those songs may have been intended for her unreleased album. Although some of Christian's songs on MySpace may have been released around the same time as "Forever or Never" in 2004, the archived page from Idol Forums indicates that at least some of the songs were released as late at 2008.<ref name="Idol Forums"/> In 2020, a playlist was uploaded to YouTube of twelve original songs by Christian that were all saved from her MySpace page.<ref>[https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSHniMUOc112FPIewGtKZ-KkRKA6_QOpC Playlist of Christina Christian's original songs]</ref> It is unknown whether this playlist includes all of the songs that were ever available on Christian's MySpace or if she had additional songs on her MySpace that are still lost. ==Song List== The following songs were all saved from Christina Christian's MySpace page. It is unknown whether or not Christian ever released any additional original songs, aside from "Forever or Never", which was released exclusively as a live performance. One of the following twelve songs, "Hypnotized", was released as a single, likely in 2007. Release dates for the other eleven songs in the list are unknown, but likely fall somewhere between 2003 and 2009. {| class="wikitable" style="text-align:center" |- ! style="background-color:lightblue" | # ! style="background-color:lightblue" | Song Title ! style="background-color:lightblue" | Status |- |1||High on Life||[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HbsYdg6Q4c&list=PLSHniMUOc112FPIewGtKZ-KkRKA6_QOpC <span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |2||Every Time the Phone Rings||[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9q3YEUiBuQ&list=PLSHniMUOc112FPIewGtKZ-KkRKA6_QOpC&index=2 <span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |3||Dear Angels||[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaDSmoQV1AM&list=PLSHniMUOc112FPIewGtKZ-KkRKA6_QOpC&index=3 <span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |4||Now That You're Gone||[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvoDidnRSNc&list=PLSHniMUOc112FPIewGtKZ-KkRKA6_QOpC&index=4 <span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |5||Hypnotized||[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4fLqQGnQ4Y&list=PLSHniMUOc112FPIewGtKZ-KkRKA6_QOpC&index=5 <span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |6||Who We Trying to Fool||[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2L18K42I3Qg&list=PLSHniMUOc112FPIewGtKZ-KkRKA6_QOpC&index=6 <span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |7||Sweet Surrender||[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AA2kZbuCbI&list=PLSHniMUOc112FPIewGtKZ-KkRKA6_QOpC&index=7 <span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |8||I'll Wait for Love||[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGge8YldRfE&list=PLSHniMUOc112FPIewGtKZ-KkRKA6_QOpC&index=8 <span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |9||Let Me Live||[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1qZLLMdfCU&list=PLSHniMUOc112FPIewGtKZ-KkRKA6_QOpC&index=9 <span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |10||Addicted to Your Love||[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N0jr9bKKSQ&list=PLSHniMUOc112FPIewGtKZ-KkRKA6_QOpC&index=10 <span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |11||Sweet Alibi||[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EypJrEXUf4&list=PLSHniMUOc112FPIewGtKZ-KkRKA6_QOpC&index=11 <span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |- |12||Wrong Direction||[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mf57V99ZjUQ&list=PLSHniMUOc112FPIewGtKZ-KkRKA6_QOpC&index=12 <span style="color:green;">'''Found'''] |} ==References== {{Reflist}}
