Alps no Yama no Shoujo was one of the first televised shadow play's ever made in the world airing from January 4, 1956 to March 28, 1956 for 12 episodes it was based on the Japanese translation of the book "heidi" sadly no footage exists of this shadow play https://www.nhk.or.jp/archives/chronicle/search/?keyword=アルプスの山の少女&page=1
